With a young family and a fantastic corner plot overlooking the lake, the brief was to create a garden that balanced family life, relaxation and everyday living. The requirements included a large pool with generous shallow areas for the whole family to enjoy, a shaded outdoor kitchen and entertaining space, plenty of lawn with a dedicated play area, and a private office discreetly positioned within the planting.

The design responds to the brief by making the pool the focal point of the landscape, carefully positioned to be visible from the main living areas of the villa and creating a luxurious resort-style backdrop from inside. The lawn and play area are tucked to the side of the garden, providing a dedicated family zone with direct access to the villa, while the outdoor kitchen creates a natural space for dining and entertaining.

The private office is nestled amongst the planting, offering a peaceful retreat away from the main garden. Low-maintenance planting was selected to mature naturally over time, allowing the family to enjoy the landscape without demanding upkeep. The result is a practical yet luxurious family garden designed around the way the clients wanted to live and enjoy their home.
