A beautiful and carefully considered landscape design for a private villa in Diriyah, Riyadh’s historic heart. The garden is designed as a series of spaces for family living, entertaining and relaxation, all sitting comfortably alongside the classical architecture of the home and respecting the character of its surroundings.

At the front of the property, clipped hedging, palms and layered planting give the villa an elegant and welcoming approach. A shaded carport sits neatly within the planting. Along the side of the home, a winding pathway leads through dense greenery and mature trees, creating a calm, secluded route into the garden beyond.

The rear garden is arranged around several distinct outdoor rooms. A sunken lounge with fire pits and a feature wall forms the main gathering space. Nearby, a dining pavilion, an outdoor kitchen and a terrace edged with low hedging provide areas for entertaining. For the family, a play area with a wooden climbing frame and a garden swing sits among lawns and stepping-stone pathways.

Every element of the design has been carefully balanced to create a garden that is both refined and practical for everyday family life. An olive tree in a raised planter forms a quiet focal point, while soft garden lighting lets the spaces be enjoyed well into the evening. Lush greenery and a light, natural palette tie the outdoor spaces together and connect them closely to the home.
