A beautiful and carefully considered landscape design for a contemporary private villa in Oman. The design makes the most of every part of the plot, creating a series of calm, elegant outdoor spaces that flow naturally from the clean lines of the architecture.
The front garden welcomes guests with large stepping-stone pathways set into the lawn. A sculptural cloud-pruned tree and terracotta planters lead the way to the entrance. Palms and layered planting along the boundary soften the façade, giving the home a refined and welcoming presence from the street.
The heart of the garden is a long, linear swimming pool framed by a raised planter of palms and tropical planting. At one end, a sunken seating area with a central fire table sits within the water, creating a striking space for gathering. Next to the pool, a covered dining area and outdoor kitchen provide a shaded setting for entertaining throughout the year.
The design continues to the upper levels, where spacious roof terraces with lounge seating and potted palms offer open views across the surroundings. Warm, integrated lighting brings the pool, planting and terraces to life in the evening. Together, the spaces create a cohesive outdoor retreat that feels light, modern and closely connected to the home.
