A beautiful and carefully considered design for a private residence in Kenya. The project brings together the landscape, the outdoor living spaces and a series of interiors to create a home where indoor and outdoor living flow naturally into one another.

The heart of the garden is a large swimming pool with a sunken seating area set within the water, arranged around a central fire pit. Next to the pool, a louvred pergola shelters an outdoor lounge with generous sofas and sun loungers. Climbing greenery and lush tropical planting soften the architecture and frame the space.

Inside, rich timber panelling, arched details and deep green marble give the spaces a warm and refined character. A striking bar sits beneath an arched timber feature wall, while the dining and lounge areas open fully to the garden through full-height glazing and slatted timber screens. A home gym looks out onto planting, making exercise feel connected to nature.

Every space has been designed with the same palette of natural materials, warm lighting and greenery, creating a calm and cohesive retreat. From a powder room finished in marble and timber to evening lighting around the pool, each detail works to make the home feel luxurious, relaxed and closely connected to its tropical setting.
